Candidates only seeking Summer 2027 internship opportunities may not be considered for this position.\nAbout the Team\nThe engineering team at ZF Axle Drives in Marysville, MI is focused on driving innovation, product reliability, and continuous improvement across the plant. Within this team, the engineering lab plays a critical role in supporting department functions such as quality and warranty teardown evaluations, assembly projects, and cross-functional collaboration. The team works closely with quality and other departments to conduct detailed investigations and builds related to product development, failures, and warranty concerns. To support these efforts, the team is currently seeking an intern who will gain hands-on experience in lab operations and contribute to initiatives that enhance the quality and performance of ZF’s driveline products and manufacturing processes.\nWhat you can look forward to as an Engineering Intern:\nEnsure the Axle Lab Area is organized & has the necessary resources & tools to perform tasks. \nPerform and document detailed analysis of warranty issues and other product failures. \nSupport the warranty review process related to root cause analysis of failure and corrective actions. \nCoordinate product and process engineering tasks or projects at the manufacturing plant level. \nUtilize QDM for engineering tasks as assigned. \nLocate and move product / containers as needed for drive unit extraction and replacement. \nCoordinate with logistics to maintain FIFO and transparency regarding container moves and SAP changes. \nMaintain inventory accuracy in road test, teardown, and non-production parts crib. \nYour profile as an Engineering Intern:\nPursuing Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.\nStrong computer skills required.
