This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership while managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and organizational culture initiatives. The HR Manager ensures that human resource programs support business objectives and foster a positive, productive workplace environment.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nManage the HR function to support plant staffing initiatives for exempt, nonexempt and temporary employees.\nProvide HR support for two locations with multiple divisions and business units, across multiple shifts\nManage compensation and benefits programs in adherence and coordination with ZF corporate standards, policies, and programs.\nServes as a trusted partner to coach and guide leaders through employee-related situations and challenges.\nProvide HR guidance/input to supervisory/management team with regards to disciplinary actions (up to and including termination of employment).\nInvestigate employee complaints and resolve conflicts in a timely manner\nPromote employee engagement, morale and retention initiatives\nSupport organizational change management efforts\nManage annual performance review and salary review process\nCommunicate policies, procedures and practices relating to employment and/or employee relations.\nParticipate in and coordinate internal training programs in adherence with ZF corporate standards, programs and policies; respond to government inquiries and audits for the plant location.\nParticipate in planning budgetary and recruiting requirements; monitor budget expenditures.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations\nEnsure compliance with the ZF Quality Management System requirements (ZF QMS) which includes IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).\nEssential Skills and Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field\n12+ years of progressive HR Management experience, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration\nKnowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices\nKnowledge of manufacturing environment including shift models\nStrong communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution and organizational skills\nFamiliar with plant HR principles and best practices\nProficient with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications\nProven organizational and project management abilities\nProven problem solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detail\nAbility to work in an intercultural environment with international colleagues\nAbility to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management\nAbility to manage multiple responsibilities and personnel\nPreferred Skills and experience:\nMaster’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field\nProfessional HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM SCP)\nExperience supporting multi-site locations\nBe part of our ZF team as HR Manager and apply now!\nContact\nTammy Whitt\n+1 770 297 4062\nDIVERSITY COMMITMENT:\nDiversity, Equity and Inclusion are more than just words for us.
