Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.\nWhat you can look forward to as Industrial Engineer:\nDevelop and maintain capacity planning models for multiple manufacturing lines and testing areas.\nLead in the development & design of plant layout strategies in support of multiple manufacturing lines.\nAssist in the development and justification of Capital Expenditures\nProvide technical support to various groups in support of new product launches.\nAssist in identifying & driving continuous improvement activities in Engineering and Manufacturing to achieve a Lean Mfg. Environment.\nIndependently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making any adaptations or modifications.\nAssistance in the development and coordination of a 5-year plant capital budget.\nProvide process input into CR’s (Customer Requests for Quote) for new and existing products.\nSupport the development of product routings in a SAP enterprise resource planning system.\nAll employees are expected to adhere to and promote ZF’s commitment to quality, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and zero defects in all aspects of their role.\nYour profile as Industrial Engineer:\nBachelor’s Degree in an engineering field with 3 - 7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience\nStrong time study skills along with a strong understanding of capacity planning.\nExperience in determining & eliminating productivity constraints, i.e., Process bottlenecks, poor efficiency, etc. and identifying the impacts through capacity & cost analysis.\nExperience in developing simulation models of Mfg. processes & methods that are small scale in scope.\nPrinciple knowledge of TPS (Toyota Production System) & knowledge Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (i.e., SAP).\nExperience in supporting customer quotes and a basic knowledge of cost factors.\nTeam leadership skills, strong project management skills, and the capability to communicate and influence others.\nPersonal computer applications proficiency with ability to support AutoCAD and MS Office applications with strong skills utilizing advanced Excel tools.\nTraining in Green Belt / Black Belt Six Sigma with practical experience.\nWhat We Offer:\nA supportive collaborative team environment\nAnnual Incentive Plan\nPaid Vacation\n401k Plan\nHealth Care Benefits\nPaid Holidays\nA strong diversity culture\nSupportive Employee Groups and community outreach activities\nZF does not offer visa sponsorship for this role (e.g., H-1B, TN), and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship by ZF now or in the future.
