One Manufacturing Engineer will focus on supporting the Assembly area of Production.\nAbout the team:\nThe Manufacturing Engineering team plays a pivotal role at ZF Off Highway Solutions by constantly driving technical advancements and cutting-edge solutions. The department's commitment to continuous improvement and hands-on problem-solving reflects our proactive and adaptive approach, making us a key contributor to the overall success of the company.\nWhat you can look forward to as Manufacturing Engineer:\nFoster collaboration with product engineering teams, ensuring the manufacturability of assembly and test specifications\nProvide assistance in resolving issues related to the interpretation of drawings, product design, manufacturing methods, and product performance.\nCollaborate with new product and process development teams to establish new bills of resources, develop routings, determine labor and machinery production cycle times, and contribute input data for product cost calculations.\nDevelop end of line test processes and program PLCs using LabView software AND/OR Develop CNC machining processes and program CNC equipment using Mastercam software\nHands on work and design of test apparatuses including flow meters, pressure transducers, electrical components etc.\nTake a lead role in developing a business case for capital investment in production processes and associated equipment, aiming to enhance overall operational efficiency.\nParticipate in root cause analysis using 8D, lean 6 sigma, 5 why analysis, etc.\nYour profile as Manufacturing Engineer:\nBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or related field preferredOR five to seven years in a technical position related to a precision manufacturing environment in lieu of BS degree\n\nProficiency in Mastercam software\n1+ years of relevant experience\nExperience working with CNC machines (Machining)\nPreferred experience in hydraulic systems (Machining)\nPreferred experience in LabView software (Assembly)\nPreferred experience in hydraulic systems (Assembly)\nProven experience in manufacturing technology, or a related field\nExcellent written communication ability\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing principles\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nThe expected base compensation for this role is $68,000 - $95,000 annually.
