The team supports the full product lifecycle, from concept and customer demonstrations to series production for global OEMs. As part of ZF’s growing ADAS & HPC business, this role offers high visibility, strong technical mentorship, and the opportunity to help shape next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies during a period of transformation and growth.\nWhat you can look forward to as Project Manager:\nLeading end-to-end planning and execution for several concurrent ADAS/AD smart-camera and ECU programs, delivering on time, on budget and at quality.\nOwning the integrated program plan - schedules, milestones, dependencies, critical path and deliverable readiness across hardware, software, systems, validation and manufacturing.\nDriving risk identification, mitigation and issue closure, with clear escalation paths that give leadership time to act.\nActing as the central program interface to OEM customers for status, deliverable alignment, change management and expectation setting.\nKeeping core platform development and customer-specific applications synchronized, driving read-across and reuse of hardware/software baselines and validation plans.\nSupporting budgeting, resource forecasting and program financial tracking, with transparent reporting of spend versus forecast.\nFacilitating recurring alignment meetings across hardware integration, subsystem engineering, software, system architecture, validation, demo and business development teams.\nDelivering the program documentation that carries the work forward: timing plans, status reports, risk registers, interface matrices and gateway packages.\nEnsuring on-time completion of design, requirements, integration, validation readiness and manufacturing readiness reviews in line with ZF processes, quality systems and OEM-specific requirements.\nPresenting program progress, risks, recovery plans and roadmap impacts to senior and executive leadership in a concise, data-driven way.\nYour Profile as Project Manager:\nBachelor's degree in engineering, technology or business, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.\n8+ years of combined engineering and program or project management experience, including proven ownership of multiple programs running in parallel.\nExperience in an automotive Tier 1 environment, with direct OEM interface and comfort navigating milestone commitments, change management and escalation.\nWorking understanding of ADAS/AD system architecture - smart cameras, central compute ECUs, sensors and data pathways - sufficient to challenge timing and readiness assumptions.\nFamiliarity with automotive engineering and quality processes such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, DVP&R, and change and configuration management.\nStrong planning and scheduling capability, including integrated timelines, dependency tracking and critical-path management; proficient with MS Project, Power BI, Windchill, and Excel.\nWillingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer and ZF sites as program needs require; PMP or equivalent certification and additional language skills are a plus.\nWhat We Offer:\nA supportive collaborative team environment\nAnnual Incentive Plan\nPaid Vacation \nPersonal Time\n401k Plan\nHealth Care Benefits\nPaid Holidays \nA strong diversity culture\nSupportive Employee Groups and community outreach activities\nQuality Statement\nAll employees are expected to adhere to and promote ZF’s commitment to quality, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and zero defects in all aspects of their role.\nBe part of our ZF team as Project Manager III and apply now!\nContact\nGabriela Palacio\nDIVERSITY COMMITMENT:\nDiversity, Equity and Inclusion are more than just words for us.
