This role involves troubleshooting, warranty analysis, and collaboration with product and quality teams, with occasional domestic and international travel.\nWhat you can look forward to as a Service Engineer:\nImplementation and coordination of service actions both in house and in field.\nEstablishes and maintains positive customer relationships for technical issues and customer satisfaction.\nInterprets, distributes and follows up to ensure Service Change Notices are implemented throughout the organization.\nCreates and distributes Technical Service Bulletins for ZF product to aid customers in product installation.\nProactively alerts Industrial Business Line Product Management and Quality department about potential safety and technical issues on ZF product. Helps to find solutions by using problem solving process.\nProvides technical support on new product releases, B.O.M.’s and catalogs.\nAssist in warranty inspections and provides failure analysis on ZF product warranty claims which may require some travel.\nTravel internationally and domestic up to 20%. \nYour profile as a Service Engineer:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.\nPreferred 1+ years experience (including internship or co op).\nPreferred experience with high voltage vehicle systems and CAN knowledge.\nPreferred heavy duty construction vehicle or commercial vehicle experience.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.\nProject management, good customer relations and negotiation skills.\nSelf driven and result & detail oriented.\nMust be able to troubleshoot/problem solve drivetrain issues. \nWhat We Offer:\nThe expected base compensation for this role is $59,600.00- $74,500.00 annually.
