digitalization and continuous improvement of plant processes.\nThe position operates as a local Smart Factory expert and project coordinator without direct people management responsibility.\nWhat you can look forward to as Smart Factory Engineer (m/f/d)?\nIndustry 4.0 and Digitalization - You will support the development of our Smart Factory concept by introducing modern digital technologies and connecting automated processes, equipment, and information systems. \nAutomation Optimization - You will analyze and improve the performance of TGW Miniload, Shuttle, conveyor systems, and AGVs to increase efficiency and reliability.\nData Analysis and KPIs - You will work with operational data, monitor KPIs such as OEE, equipment availability, and performance, and identify opportunities for further improvement. \nIT/OT Systems Integration - You will support the integration of PLCs, SCADA, WMS/SAP EWM, and other IT systems, ensuring safe and efficient data exchange between automation technologies and business systems.\nIT Security and Cybersecurity - You will work on securing industrial control systems and IT/OT infrastructure, identify security risks, and support the implementation of measures to protect data, networks, and automated technologies.\nInnovation and Continuous Improvement - You will propose, test, and implement new technologies, automation solutions, and digital tools in line with Industry 4.0 principles, focusing on safety, efficiency, and long-term operational reliability.\nYour Profile as Smart Factory Engineer (m/f/d):\n2-4 years of relevant experience in Operations, Engineering, Digitalization or Process Management.\nExperience with digitalization and Industry 4.0 projects.\nExperience with project coordination and implementation.\nGood understanding of IT/OT systems, system interrelationships and IT architectures.\nUnderstanding of shopfloor systems such as MES, SCADA, PLC-related systems and machine connectivity.\nUnderstanding of IT and OT Cyber Security principles and relevant security requirements.\nExperience with process management and continuous improvement.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Power Platform / low-code and no-code solutions is an advantage.\nAnalytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nStrong networking, organizational and communication skills.\nAbility to coordinate cross-functional activities without direct authority.\nTraining and knowledge-transfer capabilities.\nResults- and process-oriented approach.\nStrong ownership and entrepreneurial mindset.\nAbility to work independently as the local Smart
