Key focus areas are the generation, evaluation and implementation of cost reduction ideas impacting the total product cost on electromechanical products through design, process and resourcing changes. Highly visible role through interaction on all levels and with all functions.\nWhat can you look forward as a VAVE Engineer:\nGenerate cost savings ideas (e.g: design changes, process changes, supplier resourcing, …) by leading various internal and external activities (e.g supplier/in-house workshops, benchmarking activities, etc…)\nDrive with the cross-functional team the evaluation of cost reduction ideas in terms of technical feasibility, financial benefit, quality impact, risks and customer acceptance\nCollect inputs from various stakeholders, prepare business case and presentations to support business decisions and obtain Management approvals\nTrack detailed status, monitor development & implementation progress for multiple VAVE projects, propose mitigation plans in case of deviations/roadblocks;
