Your Tasks

• Execute medium-complexity procurement processes, including supplier sourcing, request for quotations (RFQs), bid analysis, CQA commercial negotiations, and issuance of purchase orders and contracts in accordance with ZF Lifetec policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement procurement projects at the local plant level and collaborate on cross-functional and multi-plant initiatives aimed at cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain optimization.
• Lead commercial negotiations related to price adjustments, contract renewals, and supply agreements by conducting market research and benchmarking activities in both domestic and international markets to support corporate cost targets.
• Perform strategic sourcing activities to secure the best balance between cost, quality, service, and delivery performance, negotiating pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial conditions while supporting supplier transitions and resourcing projects through feasibility studies and implementation plans.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop competitive suppliers capable of delivering high-quality products and services that meet ZF LIFETEC´s operational, technical, and commercial requirements.
• Support supplier development initiatives, monitor supplier performance, and foster long-term partnerships that contribute to business continuity and continuous improvement.
• Manage company-owned tooling utilized by suppliers, ensuring proper control of tool life cycle, maintenance, inventory, replacement planning, and asset traceability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes, eliminate non-value-added activities, reduce paperwork, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining appropriate controls and compliance requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to the requirements of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO/OEA) program, fulfilling all responsibilities related to supply chain security, compliance, and risk management.
• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and sustainability standards by identifying risks, promoting safe work practices, and supporting the organization’s environmental and occupational safety objectives.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management teams, to ensure procurement strategies align with business objectives and customer requirements.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Business/Trade, or a related field
• Experience with supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations, and contract management
• Knowledge of procurement processes, cost analysis, and supplier performance management
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced or fluent English.
