V.\nGeneral Description\nThe Product and Applications Engineer I will support product design, development, validation, and engineering activities for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and applicable industry standards.\nTasks\nAssist in the design, development, and testing of automotive products and components.\nSupport engineering design modifications and improvements to existing products.\nCreate, review, and update 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using PTC Creo.\nSupport engineering change requests, deviations, and documentation management using Windchill.\nAssist in maintaining engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and product documentation.\nParticipate in technical design reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements.\nSupport prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.\nReview test results and assist in preparing technical reports.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product design, manufacturing, and quality issues.\nSupport engineering activities during program launches and serial production.\nAssist in identifying opportunities for product and process improvements.\nMonitor assigned activities, report progress, and escalate technical issues when necessary.\nSupport the implementation of engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.\nPerform other engineering-related activities as assigned.\nProfile\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering field.\n0-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the automotive industry.\nBasic knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.\nFamiliarity with 2D drawings and 3D CAD software;
