a member of a dynamic development team, the Senior FPGA will be responsible for FPGA and PLD design for carrier-grade Optical Transport, Optical Line Terminals (OLTs).\nWhat You’ll Do\nCreate digital circuits and systems using FPGA technology, including coding in VHDL/Verilog, simulation, synthesis and debugging\nCollaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA solutions into the circuit packs\nEnsure design meets performance, power, and area requirements through simulation and hardware testing\nIdentify and resolve design issues during development and testing.\nCreate and maintain detailed documentation of design processes and modifications\nRequirements\nDegree in electrical engineering or computer engineering or equivalent, coupled with 5+ years' experience in FPGA design\nStrong understanding of digital design principles, FPGA architectures and HDLs (Verilog, VHDL)\nExcellent communication skills \nAbility to foster collaboration with the design team \nAbility to identify and resolve complex design issues\nAbility to optimize FPGA designs for thermal and performance\nBasic understanding of Mechanical design principles relevant to FPGA design\nAbility to adapt to evolving project requirements\nAbility to keep up to date with the latest FPGA technologies and to guide device selection\nAppreciation for how FPGAs interface with Hardware and Software\nAssets You May Possess\nExperience with hardware design of high-speed circuits\nAdvanced electronics knowledge\n Scripting experience
