As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and driving product strategy. This role will report into the Senior Product Manager and work closely with the engineering team, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional user-centered solutions.\nThis is an international, fully-remote, freelance contractor position, working from home, at a location outside of the United States. We are particularly seeking candidates who are based in Latin America.\nThere is flexibility in your work hours but we expect that you will generally maximize your overlap with California hours (eg. until 3pm Pacific Time Zone).\nThe work will all be conducted in English.\nKey Responsibilities\nParticipate in product strategy discussions, contributing to the overall vision and roadmap\nCollaborate with the Product and Engineering managers in leading a Product Squad, collaborating closely with stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for our new B2C and B2B web applications and internal platform.\nContribute to the implementation of Product Design best practices when necessary to set a new standard and increase Zicasso’s product culture maturity. \nConduct user research to gather insights, identify user needs, and inform design decisions.\nCreate user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.\nCreate detailed handoff documentation that includes design files, component specifications (typography, spacing, colors), and interaction behaviors.\nIterate and refine designs based on feedback, user testing, and data-driven decision-making.\nEnsure a consistent and cohesive visual language, driven by our core Brand ID and customer-first orientation, across all applications, adhering to established design systems and guidelines.\nAdvocate for a user-centered design approach and promote design best practices within the team.\nRequired Experience\n4+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design initiatives.\nExtensive experience in the travel industry, and/or luxury products and services, is highly preferred. \nExperience in web design and diverse user research techniques will be appreciated.\nA strong passion for travel and creating exceptional user experiences.\nProven proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.\nDemonstrated expertise in UI design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.\nExceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.\nProven ability to work effectively in a remote environment.\nDeep understanding of agile development methodologies.\nStrong understanding and experience with product strategy, metrics and OKRs.\nExperience leading design reviews and mentoring other designers.\nExperience in fast paced growing environments, either in start ups or nimble
