The role will shape scientific and analytical strategies, translate complex business and scientific needs into executable workstreams, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable bioinformatics solutions. This is a hybrid position with potential to work from home within Mexico.\nThe successful candidate will serve as a trusted scientific advisor to clients, partnering with Bioinformatics, Data Science, and Engineering teams to drive project success and build long-term relationships. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in computational biology and multi-omics, along with strong consulting, communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.\nResponsibilities\nDeliver timely, scalable Omics solutions (e.g. genomics, transcriptomics, single cell, proteomics). \nAbility to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. \nInterpret results, generate hypothesis and scientific insights for applications in biomarker identification, indication selection and patient stratification.\nApply and integrate bioinformatics pipelines, statistical modeling, machine learning/AI methods, and relational data systems to analyze heterogeneous internal and external datasets, enabling hypothesis generation and decision-making in drug discovery and translational research.\nResearch, assess, recommend, and integrate various data types to drive programs decisions. \nContribute hands-on to critical scientific initiatives and deliveries, while mentoring junior team members via technical guidance, rigorous scientific review, and workflow standardization. \nSupport pre-sales activities including solution development, proposal preparation, capability presentations, and scientific thought leadership.\nLead multiple bioinformatics and computational biology engagements from project initiation to successful completion.\nEstablish project scope, resource plans, milestones, and governance frameworks.\nEnsure timely delivery of high-quality scientific analyses, workflows, and reports aligned with customer expectations.\nTrack project progress, manage priorities, resolve delivery challenges, and communicate status to both internal and external stakeholders.\nRequirements\nQualification & Background\nPhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistical Genetics or related fields. \n5-7 years of relevant industry experience and in leading computational biology/bioinformatics projects in CRO, life sciences consulting, or bioinformatics services organizations.\nUnderstand current and emerging problems, needs, requirements analysis, of the customers. \nStay current with developments in computational biology, genomics, multi-omics, and AI through scientific literature, conferences, and engagement with the broader scientific community.\nDemonstrated experience leading customer-facing scientific projects and managing stakeholder relationships. \nHaving Therapeutic Area exposure in the areas Oncology, Immunology or Neuroscience is a plus. \nBenefits\nCURIOSITY DRIVEN, SCIENCE FOCUSED, EMPLOYEE BUILT.
