We are ambitious and excited to build big things, and we’d love to bring on someone who is as well.\nAs a Full-Stack engineer at Ziina you will:\nCollaborate with world-class product, design, operations, and engineering teams to determine which features and solutions will deliver the most value for the business and the best experience for our users.\n\nOwn, develop, and deliver end-to-end feature implementations spanning both the frontend and backend, with primary ownership of our web apps and working knowledge of the backend services it depends on. You will take features from design, to implementation, to polish, to shipping, to monitoring and measuring progress.\n\nActively participate in design discussions and collaborate with the product team to ensure web interfaces are user-friendly, intuitive, performant, and accessible, while integrating effectively with backend services and GraphQL APIs.\n\nReview code and continuously level up by collaborating with other engineers on the team.\n\nHelp shape our engineering culture by introducing best practices, tools, and methods of knowledge-sharing for building best-in-class products.\n\nTo succeed in this role, you likely:\nHave 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with deeper expertise on the web/frontend side.\n\nDemonstrate high integrity and a team-first mindset.\n\nTake ownership and show initiative, with a strong bias toward action.\n\nThrive in bringing clarity and structure to ambiguous problems.\n\nAre curious, proactive, and eager to learn and grow.\n\nCommunicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.\n\nCan define and articulate technical and design requirements.\n\nWrite clean, high-quality, testable, and well-documented code.\n\nThink analytically, with strong data-driven decision-making and customer focus.\n\nAre based in, or open to relocating to, the UAE\n\nWhat would amaze us\nDeep proficiency with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and comfort working in Node.js/Nest.js on the backend when a feature calls for it.\n\nStrong eye for UI/UX craft - interaction design, performance (Core Web Vitals), accessibility, and cross-browser/device consistency.\n\nExperience consuming and shaping GraphQL APIs (ideally with a Federation setup) from the client side.\n\nExperience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, and comfort reading/writing backend logic when a feature requires it.\n\nStrong understanding of RESTful/GraphQL APIs, web servers, application architecture, and deployment strategies.\n\nA solid grasp of version control tools, preferably Git.\n\nOur tech stack\nWe’ve built a modular architecture with the principles of reliability, scalability, and maintainability in mind.
