We are seeking an experienced professional to support our workforce expansion in India.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to help build high-performing engineering and technology teams in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone who understands technology hiring beyond job descriptions-someone who can engage deeply with engineering leaders, understand complex technical talent requirements, and build thoughtful strategies to identify and close exceptional talent.\nYou Will Get To\nOwn the full-cycle recruiting process for technical roles, from intake and calibration through sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and close.\nPartner closely with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, align on hiring strategy, and provide ongoing market and pipeline insights.\nBuild and engage diverse technical talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and thoughtful candidate outreach.\nDeliver a high-quality candidate experience by guiding candidates through interviews, communicating clearly and consistently, and supporting offer discussions through acceptance.\nUse recruiting data and funnel insights to track progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive better hiring outcomes over time.\nThis role has been categorized as an Office position. “Office” employees regularly work at the Zillow India office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month. Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Zillow has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.Who you are\n5-8 years of recruiting experience, with significant experience hiring for software engineering and technology organizations.\nProven experience recruiting within technology product companies, SaaS, cloud, consumer technology, fintech, marketplaces, or other engineering-led organizations.\nAbility to engage credibly with senior engineers and technical leaders and understand technology stacks, engineering environments, and technical career paths.\nDemonstrated success in passive candidate sourcing and talent mapping, particularly for difficult-to-fill roles.\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence Hiring Managers and challenge assumptions when required.\nExperience managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high bar for candidate quality and experience.\nStrong analytical mindset with the ability to use recruiting data to make decisions and improve outcomes.\nExcellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.\nComfortable working in an environment that values ownership, speed, ambiguity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nProficiency with recruiting systems and tools such as Workday, Gem, and LinkedIn\nProven expertise with AI tools to create dashboard and automate recruiting processes.\nAdditional Information:\nThis is a hybrid role, 3 days work from office\nWorking hours are 2 pm to 11 pm IST\nCandidates currently based in Bangalore will be considered\nGet to know us\nAt Zillow, we’re reimagining how people move-through the real estate market and through their careers.
