This position reports to the Facilities Manager and works onsite at ZincFive headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon.\nFacilities Technician Job Duties:\nWork in collaboration with other Facilities Technicians and provide support as needed\nPerform assigned preventive maintenance inspections and repairs\nPerform custodial tasks, including but not limited to stocking paper products, cleaning restrooms, washing windows, changing light bulbs, and performing general cleaning duties\nManage facilities inventory and pick up supplies and materials from local vendors as needed\nPerform a variety of maintenance duties, including but not limited to basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, plumbing, furniture assembly, and floor repairs\nInspect facilities and grounds to identify maintenance and repair needs and help maintain a clean, safe, and functional work environment\nIdentify and report hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to Facilities Manager\nFollow all company safety policies, protocols and procedures\nMaintains maintenance records, work orders, and logs as needed\nAssist with facility improvements, office moves, company events, and unforeseen facilities needs\nParticipate in a shared on-call rotation with the Facilities team and occasionally work irregular schedules, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays, as business needs require\nOther projects and duties as assigned\nJob Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1 to 2 years of facilities, maintenance, custodial, construction, or related experience\nBasic knowledge of and experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, painting, and HVAC maintenance\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions\nExperience safely operating and using a variety of hand and power tools, equipment, and materials\nKnowledge of the proper handling, use, and storage of cleaning materials, disinfectants, paints, oils, stains, and custodial equipment\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications \nThe ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions\nWork with external contractors, vendors and internal departments to address maintenance issues effectively\nValid driver’s license with proof of insurance maintained throughout employment\nDependable, adaptable, and responsive to changing business and operational needs\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOSHA safety training and/or certification\nAdvance experience using hand and power tools\nExperience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment\nKey Competencies:\nAttention to detail and organizational skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nCustomer service mindset and ability to collaborate with others\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:\nWork will be performed in various settings, including offices, manufacturing, warehouse and outdoor environments.
