This is a hands-on role focused on enabling fast, reliable delivery of applications running on OpenShift/Kubernetes, with strong ownership of CI/CD and release processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn and manage CI/CD pipelines end-to-end (design, implementation, maintenance)\n\nWork directly with development teams to integrate build, test, and deployment processes\n\nPackage and deploy applications using Helm on OpenShift / Kubernetes\n\nBuild and maintain containerised applications using Docker\n\nSupport and optimise Spring Cloud-based microservices deployments\n\nTroubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues\n\nImprove deployment speed, reliability, and rollback strategies\n\nImplement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting\n\nDrive best practices around CI/CD, versioning, and release management\n\nMaintain clear technical documentation\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nStrong experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines\n\nStrong hands-on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes\n\nStrong experience with Helm (chart development, templating, lifecycle management)\n\nSolid experience with Docker and containerisation\n\nGood understanding of Spring Cloud ecosystem\n\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills\n\nExperience debugging issues across pipelines, containers, and cluster environments\n\nScripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)\n\nExperience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)\n\nNice to Have\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)\n\nFamiliarity with Java and Spring Cloud (useful for working closely with development teams)\n\nInclusion & Diversity at Zinkworks\nAt Zinkworks, we are deeply committed to fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
