The team will take new product ideas from initial concept through to high-fidelity working prototypes that telecommunications operators can explore, test, and respond to.\nWe are now hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own the end-to-end technical foundations of these prototypes.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role spanning user interfaces, backend services, APIs, data flows, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations. You will build complete product experiences, translating early-stage ideas into reliable and engaging prototypes that demonstrate how autonomous network technologies can solve real operational problems.\nMany of the products we build are agent-driven. You will work closely with AI Engineers to connect intuitive user experiences and dependable backend services with the underlying agent layer. This includes designing the technical seams that allow agentic systems to interact safely and effectively with users, data, workflows, and real-world systems.\nThe role is suited to someone who enjoys early-stage product engineering, can make sensible technical decisions without every requirement being fully defined, and is comfortable moving quickly without compromising engineering quality.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn the full-stack implementation of product discovery probes, demonstrators, and working prototypes.\n\nBuild intuitive, responsive user interfaces that allow telecommunications operators to understand, test, and interact with complex autonomous network capabilities.\n\nDesign and develop backend services, APIs, data models, and integrations that support AI-enabled products and workflows.\n\nBuild server-side foundations that allow agent-driven applications to interact with real systems, processes, and data sources.\n\nPartner closely with AI Engineers to define integration patterns between the application layer, backend services, and agent frameworks.\n\nTranslate AI and agent outputs into clear, trustworthy, and actionable user experiences.\n\nDesign APIs, data flows, and service boundaries that support both frontend applications and autonomous agents.\n\nImplement real-time and asynchronous application experiences, including job status, notifications, streaming responses, and human-in-the-loop workflows.\n\nStand up and maintain demo and prototype infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.\n\nWork with Product, Design, AI Engineering, and the Tech Lead to move ideas from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes.\n\nHelp define full-stack code standards, engineering practices, reusable components, and technical guardrails.\n\nMake pragmatic architecture and technology decisions in a fast-moving product discovery environment.\n\nIntroduce appropriate testing, observability, security, and deployment practices without slowing down experimentation.\n\nSupport the transition of successful prototypes into more scalable and production-ready product delivery paths.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nStrong experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar, delivering user-facing applications from frontend through to backend.\n\nProduction experience with Python for backend services, APIs, or data-driven applications.\n\nStrong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework such as React, Next.js, or an equivalent technology.\n\nExperience designing and building APIs, backend services, data models, and integrations.\n\nAbility to create polished, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.\n\nGood understanding of frontend architecture, component design, application state, API integration, and browser-based performance.\n\nSolid understanding of cloud-native engineering principles.\n\nExperience working with Google Cloud Platform or a comparable cloud provider.\n\nConfidence working in ambiguous, early-stage, or product discovery environments.\n\nAbility to make technical and product decisions without relying on a fully defined backlog or detailed specification.\n\nStrong product instincts and an interest in building technology that users can explore, validate, and respond to.\n\nComfortable using AI-augmented development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.\n\nAbility to collaborate closely with AI Engineers, Product, Design, and technical stakeholders.\n\nA practical engineering mindset that balances speed, user experience, quality, security, and maintainability.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience building full-stack applications for AI-driven products.\n\nExposure to agentic AI systems, LLM applications, or modern agent frameworks.\n\nExperience designing user experiences for conversational, generative, or autonomous systems.\n\nFamiliarity with patterns such as streaming responses, tool execution, approval workflows, explainability, and human-in-the-loop interactions.\n\nExperience building dashboards, operational tooling, workflow applications, or complex data visualisations.\n\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, or similar.\n\nFamiliarity with Google ADK or related agent development frameworks.\n\nExperience with event-driven systems, asynchronous processing, or real-time application updates.\n\nExperience implementing authentication, authorisation, auditability, and secure integration patterns.\n\nTelecoms, OSS, network automation, or autonomous networks experience.\n\nExperience working on prototypes, product discovery teams, start-up environments, or innovation-led engineering projects.\n\nExperience helping successful prototypes
