Based in Ireland and operating across the EU, UK, and US, Zinkworks combines deep domain expertise with delivery excellence to help clients modernize faster and operate smarter.\nThe Role\nWe are hiring a Senior Solution Architect to lead complex presales engagements across our telecom portfolio, with a particular focus on OSS, network management, and AI-driven solutions.\nThis is a front-line commercial role where you will own multiple parallel pursuits end-to-end, from early discovery through technical close. You will work closely with Tier 1 operators and major ecosystem partners, run technical workshops, design winning solutions, and contribute to RFP and procurement processes as required.\nYou will join a team of senior Solution Architects and CTOs.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead presales technical engagements across multiple concurrent opportunities.\n\nDesign and architect scalable, cloud-native solutions.\n\nOwn and drive proof-of-concept implementations from a technical perspective.\n\nRun discovery sessions, technical workshops, and architecture reviews with customer stakeholders.\n\nDesign solutions spanning OSS, network management, and AI/ML-driven automation.\n\nOwn technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and formal procurement processes.\n\nTranslate complex customer problems into compelling, commercially viable solutions.\n\nPartner with delivery, product, and engineering teams to ensure solutions are buildable and defensible.\n\nRepresent Zinkworks credibly with C-level executives and senior technical audiences.\n\nWhat You Bring\nDeep telecom domain expertise, including understanding of telco networks (2G/3G/4G/5G), core and transport networks, OSS, network management fundamentals, service assurance, or related areas.\n\nProven experience designing and architecting OSS or NMS solutions.\n\nStrong software architecture fundamentals with the ability to design modern, cloud-native systems.\n\nHands-on cloud platform experience, preferably Google Cloud Platform, with solid understanding of cloud principles across providers.\n\nAI/ML literacy, with the ability to articulate how machine learning applies to network and operations use cases for both technical and business audiences.\n\nProven presales or customer-facing solution architecture experience, including leading and winning complex deals.\n\nAbility to operate autonomously across multiple pursuits without close supervision.\n\nExcellent communication skills, with confidence whiteboarding with engineers and presenting to executive stakeholders.\n\nWillingness to travel regularly across Europe, with periodic international travel.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience working with Tier 1 operators such as Vodafone, AT&T, or Deutsche Telekom.\n\nFamiliarity with Ericsson or other major telecom vendor ecosystems.\n\nBackground in network automation, AIOps, or intelligent assurance platforms.\n\nHands-on software development experience.\n\nInclusion and Diversity at Zinkworks\nAt Zinkworks, we are deeply committed to fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
