This role is designed for a hands-on infrastructure professional who can keep systems stable, secure, and well-documented - while resolving employee issues quickly and professionally. \nYou will manage IT infrastructure and endpoint environments, drive upgrades and patching, maintain strong security hygiene, and ensure business continuity through backups and recovery readiness. \nWhat You’ll Do \nSystem & Network Administration \nMaintain and support IT infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems. \nEnsure network reliability, performance, and security across office and remote setups. \nAdminister core services and configurations (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN). \nEmployee IT Support & Troubleshooting \nProvide L1/L2 support to employees - diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. \nOwn incident closure with clear timelines, proactive communication, and strong follow-through. \nEscalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership until resolution. \nSystem Upgrades, Patching & Maintenance \nPlan and execute regular system/software updates, security patches, and upgrades. \nMonitor system health and performance; proactively prevent recurring issues. \nMaintain standardized configurations and enforce IT hygiene best practices. \nHardware & Asset Management \nManage procurement, installation, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals. \nMaintain accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle tracking (issuance, repairs, replacements, returns). \nEnsure onboarding/offboarding IT readiness (device setup, access provisioning, recovery). \nBackup, Recovery & Business Continuity \nOwn data backup routines and validation checks. \nMaintain disaster recovery readiness and support continuity planning. \nEnsure recovery procedures are tested and documented. \nSecurity & Compliance \nImplement and monitor IT security controls (firewalls, endpoint security, antivirus, encryption). \nSupport compliance with data protection practices through access controls and device governance. \nIdentify risks early and recommend practical improvements to reduce exposure. \nDocumentation & Reporting \nMaintain documentation for inventory, network configurations, SOPs, and IT procedures. \nCreate periodic reports for management on tickets, assets, risks, and infrastructure health. \nCross-functional Collaboration \nPartner with internal teams (HR, operations, engineering/development as needed) to understand requirements and provide solutions. \nSupport office changes, expansions, and IT setup for new infra requirements. \nWhat You Bring \nQualifications & Experience \n3-6 years of experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar technical support / infrastructure role. \nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT (or equivalent work experience). \nStrong experience in IT infrastructure management across Windows/Linux environments. \nWorking knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, macOS; experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, VPN setups. \nHands-on understanding of IT security best practices and tools (endpoint security, antivirus, firewalls). \nFamiliarity with backup systems and disaster recovery planning. \nKey Skills \nStrong troubleshooting ability - systematic diagnosis and quick resolution under pressure. \nHigh ownership and responsiveness - reliable follow-through and closure discipline. \nStrong communication and stakeholder management - able to support non-technical users calmly and clearly. \nStrong documentation hygiene and process orientation. \nCollaborative mindset and comfort working across teams. \nWhat Success Looks Like - Globalisation Excellence (GE) \nMinimal IT downtime and reliable day-to-day operations for the Pune site. \nFast ticket resolution with strong user satisfaction and minimal repeat issues. \nClean patching cadence and strong security hygiene with reduced risk exposure. \nAccurate, audit-ready asset inventory and well-maintained documentation. \nStrong backup and recovery readiness that protects business continuity. \nIf you enjoy owning IT operations end-to-end, keeping infrastructure secure and reliable, and being the go-to problem solver who keeps teams productive - this role offers both impact and growth. \nZinnov is an equal opportunity employer.
