Ziosk is looking for a highly experienced AI Software Engineer-Reliability to join our Engineering team. This role combines deep technical debugging expertise with the use of AI-driven tooling and agent frameworks to accelerate issue diagnosis, reduce resolution timeframes, and improve system resilience across the Ziosk platform. You will leverage AI agents, intelligent log analysis, automated root cause workflows, and code-assist tooling to decrease MTTR, improve defect triage speed, reduce repetitive manual debugging, proactively identify systemic reliability risks. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, production operations, and applied AI automation.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDiagnose and resolve complex production issues across Android (C++, Kotlin, React Native) and .NET systems using logs, telemetry, and AI-assisted analysis.\nDesign and improve AI-enabled log analysis and incident triage workflows to accelerate root cause identification.\nLeverage AI-assisted development tools to generate, test, and validate code fixes efficiently.\nIdentify repetitive break/fix patterns and develop AI-driven automation to reduce manual debugging effort.\nIntegrate AI-supported diagnostics and automation into CI/CD pipelines and defect tracking systems.\nImplement durable fixes that reduce repeat incidents and improve overall system reliability.\nBuild and refine retrieval-based (RAG) workflows to surface historical incident context and detect recurring patterns.\nDocument resolutions and automation improvements to expand AI-assisted resolution coverage and reduce MTTR.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\n3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including work in production environments.\nProficiency in C++, C#, Kotlin, and Android development.\nStrong debugging and root cause analysis skills across multiple platforms.\nHands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, LLM-based workflows) as part of daily engineering work.\nPractical experience building or contributing to AI-driven automation workflows, such as log analysis, retrieval-based systems, or task automation.\nUnderstanding of RESTful APIs, multithreading, memory management, and performance troubleshooting.\nExperience working with version control and CI/CD pipelines to deploy and validate fixes safely.\nAbility to analyze recurring defects and propose automation or systemic improvements.\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and operations teams.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with Point of Sale (POS) solutions, especially in hospitality environments.\nFamiliarity with EMV Payments and payment processing systems.\nExposure to Digital Content Management platforms and workflows.\nExperience with embedded systems or hardware integration.\nKnowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and backend services.\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira).\nZiosk is an Equal Opportunity employer offering competitive benefits and compensation.
