You'll identify high-friction processes, diagnose root causes, and design scalable solutions that improve efficiency and deliver measurable business impact.\nYou'll identify where AI can create meaningful value, build foundational workflows yourself, and translate complex opportunities into clear business and technical requirements.\nThis is a hands-on role for a systems thinker with a builder mindset. You'll structure the plan, align on the outcome, then coordinate stakeholders and resolve issues to get there.\nInteresting problems you'll get to solve\nEvolve and Scale an AI-Enabled Finance\nIdentify workflows where AI, automation, or agentic solutions can create meaningful business value.\nPrototype, test, and build agentic workflows and automations, using LLM-based tools and no-code/low-code platforms, that solve real Finance problems.\nTranslate Finance use cases into clear requirements across workflows, data, controls, exceptions, human oversight, and success metrics.\nPartner within internal Finance pillars (Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Tax) as well as cross functional teams (Data, Engineering, and Agentic Platform teams) to design, test, deploy, govern, and continuously improve solutions.\nFinance Transformation Program Delivery\nLead transformation workstreams with stakeholder alignment at key decision points, from diagnosing problems and gathering requirements through solution design, implementation, testing, change management, and impact measurement\nDiagnose process, system, and control gaps and recommend scalable, standardized future-state solutions that reduce complexity.\nOwn project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, stakeholder communications, and day-to-day delivery.\nMeasure success through efficiency, accuracy, control effectiveness, adoption, and improved decision quality.\nDrive Cross-Functional Change\nBuild alignment across Finance, Data, Technology, Compliance, and other teams, surfacing risks and keeping work moving.\nDevelop recommendations and drive adoption through strong business cases, executive communication, documentation, training, and stakeholder feedback.\nDevelop executive-ready updates and presentations for senior stakeholders, including CFO and CEO.\nWhat you'll bring to the team\nRequired\n5-8 years of professional experience driving transformation or technology-enabled process improvement, with hands-on experience building or shipping AI-enabled tools, workflows, or automations.\nDemonstrated ownership of cross-functional transformation initiatives from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and measurable outcomes.\nProven project management skills across requirements, gap analysis, roadmaps, timelines, stakeholder management, risk, and change adoption.\nHands-on experience using generative AI, automation, or agentic tools to design, prototype, and ship real workflows or products, not just experimenting with them.\nStrong product and systems mindset, with the ability to identify where AI and automation create value and translate business problems into clear requirements for technical teams.\nWorking understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use, including data quality, validation, privacy, controls, and human oversight.\nStrong communication and influence, with the ability to engage senior leaders and drive cross-functional progress without direct authority.\nStrong critical thinking, organization, attention to detail, and judgment in ambiguous environments.\nPreferred\nStrong grounding in core financial concepts and processes, with a background in accounting, treasury, FP&A, or similar.\nHands-on experience in finance transformation initiatives, with an understanding of end-to-end finance data flows.\nExperience working within a complex, high-growth, fintech, financial services, or regulated environment.\nProven experience in finance process optimization or system implementation.\nFamiliarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems, along with other core Finance systems.\nHow you'll operate\nAccountable: You own the problem through the outcome, including delivery, adoption, controls, and results.\nCurious: You experiment responsibly with emerging technology and continuously look for better ways to work.\nCollaborative: You build credibility across Finance and technical teams and influence without formal authority.\nAction oriented: You create structure from ambiguity, make informed decisions, and move work forward.\nWhat you’ll get in return\nZip is a place where you’ll get out what you put in. The actual base salary will be determined by various individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, internal equity, as well as other objective business considerations.\nThe annual base Pay Range for this position is $128,000 - $140,000 USD. This range reflects our *Premium Location band (US2).
