We are seeking people who sculpt from first principles, enjoy facing adversity, and can do the impossible at record breaking speeds.\nAbout You and The Role \nThe Zipline Legal Team is searching for an experienced, high-powered, and process-oriented Senior Paralegal who will support our corporate legal function. In this role, you will partner closely with others on the Corporate Legal team and cross-functional stakeholders, such as Finance, People, and Compensation. You’ll bring attention to detail, organizational skills, and a positive attitude to everything you do. You’ll be a core member of a strong, friendly, passionate, in-house legal function and will report to Zipline’s Deputy General Counsel, Corporate. If you're energized by tackling meaningful problems, excited to innovate and radically improve processes, and motivated by work that truly matters, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat You'll Do \nProvide project management and support for complex corporate transactions including financing rounds and strategic transactions through due diligence coordination, document management and closing preparations\nAssist in supporting our equity program and management of our equity management platforms (Carta and Shareworks)\nManage U.S. state and local filings, business licenses, and various business entity documents with governmental agencies\nOversee subsidiary management, including entity records, officer and director tracking, organizational charts, annual filings, and related governance documentation\nManage and maintain corporate records and databases \nWork with other members of the Legal team as well as other company functional departments on special projects and initiatives\nDesign, develop, and implement or improve systems and processes to increase efficiency, support scalability, and ensure quality\nWork to identify, build and maintain scalable corporate operations processes, with emphasis on documentation and audit trails\nYour relationship-driven approach allows you to build strong cross-functional relationships across all levels of the business to influence and inspire other teams\nWhat You'll Bring\nAs part of a small team supporting a rapidly growing organization, the ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment in handling complex, multi-jurisdictional corporate work and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment\nYou are proactive and pragmatic problem solving - seeing risks and potential issues before they arise and proposing effective solutions.\nYou thrive in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations, and love the feeling of undramatically and quickly solving any problems that come your way.\nStrong communication and project management skills.\nEffective time management skills that enable you to set aggressive but realistic deadlines that you meet (and usually beat), even with competing priorities.\nConfidence to work independently and judgment to recognize when issues require escalation or input from others.\nA positive attitude and the willingness to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.\nWhat Else You Need To Know \nAt least seven years of relevant experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house\nMust be eligible to work in the United States\nThe starting cash range for this role is $120,000-$150,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact.
