About Ziplines

Ziplines Education is a category-leading education company that partners with universities to deliver industry-focused certificate courses that prepare professionals for today’s digital-first workforce. Each year, we have the opportunity to help thousands of career advancers build the knowledge, skills, and credentials they need to move their careers forward. 92% of learners would recommend our programs, and our net promoter score is consistently in the excellent range. Together, we empower adult learners to confidently pursue the career they’ve always wanted.

About the Course

AI for Data Analysis is a 5-week, hands-on course for professionals who lead teams that rely on data and need to do more with it - faster, more confidently, and with greater impact. Designed for managers and team leads across functions, this course cuts through the complexity and teaches learners how to apply AI directly to the data challenges they face every day.

Most managers and individual contributors who aren't analysts are facing a shortage of time, confidence, and relevant skills to turn data into something useful. They're fielding questions they can't answer quickly and spending hours on reports that should take minutes. The pressure to close that gap is only growing: Lightcast's 2025 analysis of 1.3 billion job postings found that 51% of roles requiring AI skills now sit outside IT and computer science - and that those roles command salaries nearly $18,000 higher per year. Data fluency is no longer a specialist's edge; it's becoming a baseline expectation across every function.

This course changes that equation. Learners build a practical set of data-thinking skills and repeatable AI processes that give them the confidence to use data across a range of decisions and communicate with audiences in situations they actually face - from a quick insight to share with a teammate to a pre-meeting brief for a senior leader to a presentation that moves a room to act. By the end, learners won't just know how to use AI with data. They'll have the tools, the habits, and the confidence to make data a genuine advantage in every conversation that matters.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Set up AI with the right context, guardrails, and data sources to produce reliable, responsible analysis.

  • Translate any business question into a structured AI-assisted investigation and communicate findings in a clear, action-oriented way.

  • Determine when to trust AI-generated analysis, when to push back, and how to present conclusions with confidence.

  • Build charts, dashboards, and visual summaries that match the right visualization to the right question and are formatted to share without rebuilding every time.

  • Structure a data-driven narrative tailored to your audience and deliver a confident, clear recommendation that moves people to act.

Our Learners

Our learners are ambitious professionals from a wide range of industries, primarily in non-technical business roles. They are motivated to stay current with advancements in AI and data analysis, with a strong focus on developing practical skills that enhance productivity, drive efficiency, and support meaningful career and business growth.

Our Courses

Each week, learners:

  • Complete on-demand online content created by industry experts featuring scenario-based learning, industry context, and best practices (6-7 hours)

  • Apply their skills via a hands-on “Playbook” project (1-2 hours)

  • Attend a live session to learn from an industry expert (that’s you!) alongside their classmates (2 hours). Most learners will join your live session having completed the week’s content and started their Playbook assignment. You’re supporting and customizing their learning, not teaching concepts for the first time.

  • Connect with classmates on Slack or reach out to our Learner Success team for support.
