The Director, Finance will help scale a fast-growing company by serving as the financial planning and analysis liaison with Bell Canada. The Director provides financial insights, modeling, and reporting to support Ziply’s U.S. fiber build and overall operations. Strategic Planning & Financial Leadership\nCollaborate with Ziply leadership team to drive the annual planning process including five-year plan, operating budget, capital budget, and company strategy.\nSupport Ziply operating expense and subsidiary FP&A function\nAssess ROI for capital expenditures and other business investments.\nProvide thorough and thoughtful financial analysis to drive better informed decision-making. Business Partnership & Reporting\nPartner with business units to understand financial performance and develop/ implement action plans to achieve objectives.\nPartner with Accounting team in developing relevant and timely financial reporting for business leaders. Stakeholder Relations & Communication\nFrequently prepare and present materials to senior Ziply and Bell Canada executives\nCultivate and sustain effective working relationships between Bell Canada and Ziply. Required\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.\nMinimum of ten (10) years’ experience in financial planning and analysis.\nMinimum of five (5) years of people leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling) and Microsoft PowerPoint for creating and delivering impactful presentations.\nExperience with PowerBI, SQL, Alteryx, and Anaplan considered an asset for the role\nExperience with treasury function considered an asset\nStrong ability to communicate complex financial models in a clear, simplified manner for diverse audiences.\nHands-on and detailed oriented but also be able to see the big picture.\nCollaborative and service focused, comfortable working across all organizational levels.\nFlexible and adaptive in a rapidly changing environment.\nSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and achieve desired performance metrics.\nPreferred\nQualifications:\nPrior leadership experience within the telecommunications industry.
