The colleague will support Global Portfolio Marketing (GPM) in global portfolio brand development and related support resources, as well as the identification and evaluation of innovation opportunities.\nThe Product Manager will work closely with local markets, Commercial Support Leads (CSLs), Global Portfolio Marketing (GPM), GMS/Manufacturing, Finance, and VMRD/Engineering. The colleague will also lead, within the GH Leadership Team (LT), the development and annual communication of the Zoetis Global Hatchery strategy and forward-looking roadmap.\nA key responsibility will be establishing metrics to monitor and report device and parts issues to GH leadership, manufacturing, and engineering. The Product Manager will develop and maintain a Balanced Scorecard to provide visibility into performance and guide progress toward the strategic goals of the business.\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: forecasting/demand plan management, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.\nResponsibilities Include, but Not Limited To:\nManage the global forecast/demand plan and communicate updates to manufacturing and Finance.\nServe as the point person for gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.\nManage requests for BioDevice development, enhancements, and improvements.\nServe as the point person for order reviews and coordination among Commercial, Engineering, and Manufacturing.\nMonitor BioDevice build and shipment schedules and communicate updates with Manufacturing and Commercial teams.\nSupport the Inovoject (Legacy and NXT) and VMD portfolios, as applicable.\nCapture and track product performance and device failures and communicate findings to Manufacturing and Engineering.\nSupport device strategy development and execution with local markets.\nSupport GPM in the development and execution of the global portfolio brand strategy.\nLead the GH Leadership Team in the development and communication of the GH strategy and forward-looking roadmap.\nActively participate in and/or lead strategic projects as required.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree.\n5+ years of demonstrated accomplishments in product development and/or product management.\nAbility to translate insights and analytics into strategy and tactical execution and measure results.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nEngineering and/or project management experience.\nExperience with capital equipment.\nExperience in the poultry industry and/or animal health\nExperience with SAP.\nExperience in marketing\nExperience with medical and/or automation equipment.\nHeadquarters and/or cross-functional experience, such as manufacturing, engineering, finance, or commercial.\nExperience working with product development and/or management of complex products or equipment.\nStrong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.\nStrong analytical thinking, business acumen, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.\nAbility to exercise sound judgment and make thoughtful, fair decisions based on relevant information.\nAbility to interact with and influence senior management, peers, and cross-functional partners.\nAbility to lead without authority, communicate objectives, and gain understanding and alignment across teams.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, and ability to learn Zoetis systems.\nStrong bias for action.\nDemonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.\nDemonstrated ability to execute initiatives, identify opportunities, and solve problems to drive product support and growth.\nAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-based environment and build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization.\nAbility to work effectively in highly fluid, complex, and continuously changing environments.\nPHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility and willingness to travel overnight approximately at least 20-25% of the time to include some weekends \nThe employee's usual work location is in an office environment but will be required to conduct field rides to customers from time to time. \nThe location for this position is the Durham, NC Global Commercial BioDevice & Automation. \nFull timeRegularColleagueAny unsolicited resumes sent to Zoetis from a third party, such as an Agency recruiter, including unsolicited resumes sent to a Zoetis mailing address, fax machine or email address, directly to Zoetis employees, or to Zoetis resume database will be considered Zoetis property.
