All activities are conducted within a safety-minded culture that strives for continuous improvement.\nIf you have an engaged work ethic and enjoy the challenge of maximizing quality and efficiency as part of a high performance team, this may be a great opportunity for you!\nResponsibilities:\nEnsure all tasks are performed in accordance with applicable batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines, as well as applicable regulatory standards, such as current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)\nOperate, maintain, troubleshoot and make minor repairs on packaging equipment\nMonitor, evaluate and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.\nMaintain complete and accurate documentation of all tasks completed\nProvide leadership to line operators as well as effectively communicate with support personnel and leadership\nWork together as a team to maintain production schedule and objectives \nRequired skills, education, and experience:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\nBasic math, English communication skills, legible penmanship, and reading comprehension\nAbility to follow detailed instructions\nBasic use of Microsoft applications and general computer skills\nEffective interpersonal communication and a positive outlook\nMechanical reasoning and troubleshooting skills\nStrong mechanical skills along with experience in the use of various hand tools\nPreferred candidate qualifications:\nKnowledge of cGMP's and production practices\nExperience in a Lean Production and/or manufacturing environment\nReliable transportation and good attendance/time management skills\nExperience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement work environment; 5S, visual schedule,\nPDCA, M1, etc.\nAbility to train on area SOP's/OJT's- equipment, process, paperwork\nExperience in working with Tech Writer, creating and maintaining training documentation\nPhysical and Time requirements:\nRoutine lifting of 20-50 lbs.\nProlonged periods of sitting and standing\nAbility to work overtime is required, including up to every other weekend based on business needs\nManual dexterity and ability to keep up with pace of production standards\nWork Environment: Colleague could be exposed to airborne particles, including cephalosporin.
