ZOLL Itamar's corporate headquarters, research and development and manufacturing are located in Israel with U.S. headquarters based in Atlanta, GA.\nJob Type\nHybrid\nJob Summary\nThe ATE Engineering Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the design, developing and implementation of test programs and test fixtures using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms designed for electrical and functional testing of circuit boards, sub-assemblies and full product. Driving process improvements in the field of testability, ensuring our products meet the highest standards from early R&D phases through high-volume production.\nThe team leader is accountable for test-station readiness during NPI and sustained testing performance during mass production.\nEssential Functions\nEnd-to-End System Development: Oversee the full lifecycle of test solution development, including spec definition (TRD/SOW), design, coding, hardware integration/Development, and validation.\nSystem Architecture: Define test strategies, coverage methodologies, hardware/Software specifications, and interface requirements across the company's production product lines. \nLeading the development of automated tests systems \nProduction Integration & Optimization: Successfully deploy test stations to manufacturing lines, optimize test coverage and cycle times, and support contract manufacturers (CMs) globally \nNew Products Introduction testers development from R&D to mass production\nProfessionally managing subcontractors and design review (PDR,CDR) \nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with R&D (Hardware, Software, System), QA, and Operations to align test capabilities with product release schedules.\nTroubleshooting & Maintenance: Lead root-cause analysis for complex systemic failures, improve failure rates and management upgrades for existing test infrastructure.\nRequired/Preferred Education and Experience\n B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. \n At least 10 years of experience in managing ATE development engineering teams with multi-disciplinary products \n At least 5 years in high volume production processes \n At least 10 years of experience with NPI testers \n At least 10 years of experience in CAD (Altium/OrCAD) and PLM systems \n Experience with developing PCBA test equipment: ICT, Flying probe and HW for bed of nails \n Experience specifying ,designing and development ATE \n Experience working directly with overseas Contract Manufacturers (CMs) \n Experience with connection production test results to DB and BI \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams \nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills \nStrong project management and leadership capabilities. \nHands-on experience in automated test development (ATE), test fixture design, and hardware-software integration. \nHardware & Lab Skills: Extensive experience working with lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, DAQs) and a solid understanding of electronic circuits \nMethodologies: Deep understanding of Design for Testing (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. \nAbility to write development and test specifications. \nPreferred Languages\nHebrew - Expert\nEnglish - Expert\nZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
