ZOLL Itamar's corporate headquarters, research and development and manufacturing are located in Israel with U.S. headquarters based in Atlanta, GA.\nJob Type\nOn Site\nJob Summary\nThe Mechanical Engineering Student will support the R&D team by creating and updating 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings in SolidWorks. The role is responsible for reviewing and maintaining mechanical design documentation, assisting with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and supporting the mechanical documentation aspects of the PDM implementation project.\nEssential Functions\nIdentify gaps, inconsistencies, and missing information in mechanical design documentation and support completion of relevant 3D models and 2D drawings.\nAssist the Mechanical Engineer with preparing, updating, and organizing documentation required for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).\nSupport the mechanical documentation aspects of the PDM implementation project, including data organization, document migration, and process adoption.\nCreate and update SolidWorks models, assemblies, and engineering drawings under the direction of the Mechanical Engineer.\nReview mechanical documentation for completeness, consistency, revision status, and alignment between models and drawings.\nMaintain accurate engineering files and follow established documentation, change-control, and quality procedures.\nCollaborate with the Mechanical Engineer and relevant R&D stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve documentation issues.\nHandle confidential company and product information responsibly and work in accordance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.\nRequired/Preferred Education and Experience\n Currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering \n Practical experience with SolidWorks is required; extensive hands-on experience with 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation is highly preferred. \n No professional certification is required. \n Highly experienced and proficient in SolidWorks, including parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings. \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify gaps or inconsistencies in technical documentation. \nOrganized, dependable, and able to manage tasks independently within a part-time schedule. \nGood communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn engineering documentation and PDM processes. \n Preferred Languages\nHebrew - Expert\nEnglish - Advanced\nZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
