It's a great time to be a part of ZOLL!\nJob Summary\nThe Senior Accountant prepares and processes financial information, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and supplemental reporting, as well as performs analytics on the financial data. In addition to the traditional accounting duties, this position requires a keen analytical mindset to help drive efficiency improvements.\nEssential Functions\nPerforms professional accounting functions involving the application of established accounting standards, principles, and practices\n\nPrepare standard monthly journal entries, consistent with GAAP requirements\n\nPrepare monthly reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts, to include analysis of accounts for accuracy and reasonableness, and timely follow up and coordination for resolution of any issues\n\nPrepare supplemental reporting and analytics, as needed\n\nAssist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting\n\nAssist with policy and procedure documentation and maintenance\n\nIdentify and implement new automation/efficiency opportunities to streamline accounting functions\n\nRequired/Preferred Education and Experience\nA degree in Accounting or Finance required\n\n5+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred\n\nExperience with Oracle is a plus\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of general accounting principles, procedures, and software\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management\n\nIntermediate to advanced Excel proficiency\n\nAbility to work independently, be self-directed, and self-motivated\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nDemonstrated ability to work with many types of confidential data with discretion and professionalism\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nStanding - Occasionally\n\nWalking - Occasionally\n\nSitting - Frequently\n\nTalking - Occasionally\n\nHearing - Occasionally\n\nRepetitive Motions - Frequently\n\nZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
