This role does not offer relocation.\n Job Summary\nWe are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and support software applications and data-driven solutions that support business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with .NET/C#, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Experience with REST APIs and system integration is desired.\nThis role will collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to understand requirements, solve technical challenges, and deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.\nEssential Functions\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support high-quality, scalable, and reliable software applications.\nDevelop and maintain backend and frontend components of .NET/C# web applications, supporting full-stack development.\nDesign, develop, and maintain database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).\nWrite, maintain, and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and database scripts.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports to support business and operational reporting requirements.\nAnalyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software, database, and reporting solutions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve application, database, reporting, and performance-related issues.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and other engineers to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.\nWrite clean, efficient, secure, and well-documented code following established software development best practices.\nPerform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.\nParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.\nContribute to all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.\nStay current with relevant technologies and software development practices and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.\nRequired/Preferred Education and Experience\n Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. \n At least 2 years of professional, non-internship software development experience. \n Professional experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL. \n Experience developing and maintaining SSRS reports. \n Experience with .NET/C# application development. \n Experience with REST APIs and/or enterprise application integration is desired. \n Experience with AS2/AS4, Oracle Cloud, Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, or PL/SQL is beneficial but not required. \n Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nStrong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL). \nStrong proficiency in T-SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and database scripts. \nHands-on experience developing and maintaining SSRS reports. \nExperience with database design, data analysis, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting. \nExperience developing and supporting .NET/C# applications. \nExperience with REST APIs, web services, and system-to-system integrations is desired. \nExperience working with structured data formats such as JSON and XML is desired. \nFamiliarity with API authentication and security mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0, token-based authentication, and Basic Authentication, is desired. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. \nUnderstanding of software development methodologies and tools, including Agile/Scrum and source control. \nAbility to work independently when needed while collaborating effectively with technical and business teams. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nStanding - Occasionally \nWalking - Occasionally \nSitting - Constantly \nTalking - Occasionally \nHearing - Occasionally \nRepetitive Motions - Frequently \n ZOLL Medical does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
