This position will be conducting software testing activities on a Scrum team, and must be highly collaborative, demonstrate technical competence, and personal productivity including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nEssential Functions\nAbility to lead the testing activities for projects and provide status on those activities\nTesting of software running on safety critical medical devices and associated applications\nDesigns and reviews test plans and test cases\nExecute and maintain test plans and test cases to verify the design meets the specified requirements\nIdentify and communicate risk throughout the software development lifecycle and works cross-functionally to mitigate risk\nIdentify and point out ambiguities in requirements\nGenerate detailed defect reports for failed tests\nAssist Development teams with the troubleshooting of defects\nFacilitates cross-functional defect, test plan and test case reviews\nProvide estimates on the test effort for work items\nParticipate in program, design and document reviews\nAdheres to department software release schedules\nComplies with regulatory guidelines and maintain associated documentation\nEnsures and documents traceability from requirements to tests\nMonitor test automation results for assigned application\nDevelopment and maintenance of automated test scripts\nMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; stay current on SQA best practices; participating in professional societies\nRequired/Preferred Education and Experience\nBS or MS degree or equivalent industry experience in a STEM discipline required\nTypically 5+ years of relevant experience required\nProven track record performing the above Duties and Responsibilities required\nExperience writing SQL queries required\nExperience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell required\nExperience working with Linux OS file system required\nExperience testing web services using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger required\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nLanguage Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents of advanced technical complexity. Ability to write reports and research findings of a technical nature. Ability to speak and present effectively one-on-one as well as in small and large groups of professionals including customers, clients and collaborators, both inside and outside the organization.\nMathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills required, including the understanding and ability to apply basic statistical and arithmetic principles, work with tabular data, and create and interpret graphs.\nReasoning Ability: Advanced reasoning skills required. Must have the ability to solve complex problems and weigh possible solutions to determine rank options to deliver optimal outcomes.
