But it's our unique opportunity to impact people's lives that makes ZOLL the ideal place to build your career.\nJob Summary\nSupervise the Accounts Receivables team by supporting staff to ensure efficient, timely and accurate management of accounts to maximize cash flow.\nEssential Functions\nUtilize current workflow process and billing system to distribute work to staff.\nUtilize accounts receivables expertise to identify and escalate payer issues.\nEnsures Specialist timely and accurately research overdue unpaid or underpaid account balances.\nAid seniors and staff with complex accounts and act as a resource to subordinate personnel to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.\nCreate, update and enforce all team standards and ensure compliance with Reimbursement policies and procedures.\nIdentify areas of opportunity to improve processes along with aiding in the implementation of those changes.\nUtilize processes and available tools to analyze trends.\nAssist Manager with daily, weekly and/or monthly reporting responsibilities.\nParticipate in the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process for new accounts receivables staff including requisition submission, new hire setup requests and any required accompanying paperwork.\nCoordinate, monitor and participate in the training of new staff and coaching of existing staff including performance appraisal, quality review and disciplining of subordinate staff to drive improvement and continued success.\nSupervise the activities of subordinate staff by providing direction and guidance in work assignments and ensures the timely and accurate completion of tasks.\nCreate and distribute daily and monthly metrics to staff and management.\nSupervise scheduling, ADP, call off, PTO and breaks to ensure proper coverage.\nRequired/Preferred Education and Experience\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nBachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in medical collections and understanding of CMS-1500 claim forms and re-billing process required\nExperience working with all payer types to include Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party commercial insurance companies required\nMinimum of 1 year supervisory or leadership experience required\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadline. \nProficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate knowledge of Excel. \nStrong written and oral communication skills. \nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
