Position Summary:

Direct line reporting to the Director CMS Marketing EMEA, responsibility for the development and execution of local marketing strategy in line with the Zoll CMS Italian operating plan. Responsible for activities to access market opportunity, define business needs and to collaborate with different functional groups to develop and execute marketing plans that will increase Life Vest therapy penetration.

Responsible for close collaboration with the Italian field organization to ensure alignment on strategy and to support tactical execution of marketing programs with the field sales teams (TM’s, Sales Agents and Sales Management). Accountability for collaboration with the EMEA Medical Education team, the identification and development of KOL customer relationships and the deployment of programs that support Life Vest product adoption and Zoll brand development.

Dotted line reporting to the Italian Managing Director; this to provide input and support to the development of strategies to expand market penetration and increase therapy access across the region.

The marketing manager will function as part of the regional EMEA marketing organization, providing input on the broader EMEA commercial strategy, as well as upstream feedback to both the global marketing and product development teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the LifeVest marketing and product management in Italy this in close collaboration with the local Geographical Sales Leadership.
  • Supports market analysis and the creation of customer segmentation with associated KPI´s to enhance commercial focus, therapy adoption and sales execution across the region.
  • Adapts EMEA marketing collaterals based on local clinical indications and market segments; this includes the design and execution of messaging, promotional materials, sales tools and proof sources.
  • Actively supports the field sales organization, including close collaboration with the Zoll Territory Managers, sales agents and distributors.
  • Collaborates with reimbursement and market access colleagues to identify evidence requirements for improved access in Italy. Supports the creation of program-specific evidence generation plans to full-fill this goal.
  • Provide product, competitive and clinical data analyses to sales force along with project support for training events with the different selling organizations.
  • Collaborates with the Prof relations group to develop programs that increase ZOLL brand recognition, clinical presence and customer perception at scientific conventions or other relevant Peer > Peer events.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to design and implement promotional programs to maximize impact of sales efforts.
  • Manage the analysis of customer satisfaction data and apply such data to improve marketing and product strategies.
  • Foster relationships with key clinical individuals / organizations within the industry.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by marketing and sales management.

Educations and/or Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical marketing required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing or field sales position.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills, and well-honed interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
  • Ability to interpret and convey clinical data required. Independent thinking and a high level of initiative and the ability to interact well with physician, customers, and key opinion leaders are essential.
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to work within a fast paced, high visibility role.
  • Approximately 30% travel and some weekends required for this position.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English language.
  • Prior product management experience a benefit but not mandatory.
  • Experience within the cardiac care healthcare arena a benefit but not mandatory.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

Ability to work within a Matrix environment, proactively collaborating with different functional groups with the goal of executing against common objectives and goals.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, comprehend and correspond in English language. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to manage market models and budgets.

Reasoning Ability:

Proactive approach to interpreting instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to constructively deal with problems and make appropriate judgment calls to insure the correct outcome.

PAY RANGE: 75,000.00>90,000.00

The compensation range indicated in this job posting represents an estimated average range for the position. The final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements .
