We think you’ll thrive on our team if you’re:\nCurious at your core, with an eagerness to learn and do things differently\nCustomer-focused, always thinking about ways to improve the user experience\nAble to operate autonomously and work asynchronously, while also being an effective team player \nAbout The Role\nWe’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to partner with our sales team and prospective customers on how Zoo can best address their use cases and technical requirements. We believe in a world full of modern software tools for hardware design that allow anyone to develop solutions on top of our infrastructure. You will be responsible for proactively pushing deals forward by overcoming technical objections and positioning Zoo solutions that align with customer objectives. You will ensure a successful transition to the post-sale stage of the customer lifecycle, and partner with customer teams and internal teams to drive adoption of new products by existing customers. You will be expected to have significant knowledge of the hardware design ecosystem, software development, and a deep understanding of how customers can best utilize Zoo’s products.\nWhat You’ll Do\nEngage with Zoo customers and guarantee success of their specific use cases built on top of Zoo’s APIs \nDevelop a deep understanding of Zoo products and how to position with customers\nBuild highly interactive and engaging customer demonstrations in order to educate potential customers and share best practices on integration throughout the sales cycle\nCollect requirements, and provide guidance and best practices to apply Zoo products and technologies to achieve customers' business goals\nPartner with our team to translate prospect feedback into meaningful product insights\nWork closely with sales to jointly close new enterprise customers\nGuide new Zoo enterprise customers, helping them execute impactful proof-of-concept projects with a focus on revealing ROI-driven results\nAssist sales as the technical expert to close deeper commercial production deals after a proof-of-concept concludes\nWhat You’ll Need\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience\nDemonstrated experience in a customer facing engineering role, with a track record of supporting technical sales to large enterprise customers\nAbility to understand customers’ workflows, requirements, and decision processes, then translate those insights into effective technical solutions\nAbility to lead technical evaluations and manage requirements, next steps, and follow-through across multiple accounts\nComfort working across a range of enterprise customers through technical, security, and compliance requirements, including handling ITAR-controlled data under established procedures\nKnowledge of CAD software\nGeneral engineering acumen with a practical understanding of APIs and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).\nHands-on experience with AI tools such as Codex\nSound technical judgment and the ability to explain current capabilities, limitations, and potential roadmap solutions without overpromising\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage executives and explain complex technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences\nThe salary range for this role is provided below. The final offer will depend on multiple factors including candidate experience, skills, expertise, and market data. Compensation may vary by geography.
