Remote arrangements are not available for this role.\nAbout the Team\nThe Online Data team owns the data pipelines, ML models, and reporting that underpin Zoom’s Online business, covering billing, checkout, funnel analytics, and revenue reporting. Globally distributed and deeply cross-functional, the team partners closely with Data Science, Fraud, Online Business, Finance, Marketing, and IT services to deliver reliable, data-driven outcomes at scale.\nResponsibilities\nLead and grow a cross-functional team of data engineers, ML engineers, and data visualization engineers.\nOwn the roadmap and delivery of scalable data pipelines, data models, and infrastructure supporting Online business analytics, including funnel, billing, checkout, and revenue.\nPartner with Data Science, Finance, and Product stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, well-governed data assets.\nDrive data quality, classification and access control compliance, and platform reliability across Snowflake, Databricks, and Zoom’s big-data platform ecosystem.\nDefine technical direction on data architecture, pipeline design, and tooling selection, including evaluation and adoption of new BI and analytics platforms.\nManage team performance, hiring, mentorship, and career development to build and retain high-performing engineering talent.\nCollaborate with engineering leadership on headcount planning, prioritization, and capacity allocation.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n10+ years of experience in data engineering, including 3+ years leading and managing engineering teams.\nProven track record building and scaling production data pipelines and data platforms, with hands-on experience across Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Airflow, and dbt.\nStrong foundation in data modeling, ETL/ELT architecture, and data governance and access control practices.\nExperience collaborating with Finance, Business, and Data Science stakeholders on revenue, billing, or growth analytics.\nDemonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing engineering talent, with excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences.\nFamiliarity with BI and visualization tooling such as Tableau, Hex, or Looker is a plus.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\nSalary Range or On Target Earnings:\n$146,700.00 - $339,300.00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.\nNote: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.\nWe also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations\nAt Zoom, we offer a window of at least 5 days for you to apply because we believe in giving you every opportunity.
