Remote arrangements are not available for this role.\nAbout the Team\nThe Trust and Safety Engineering team works to protect Zoom users from abuse and harm, applying state-of-the-art AI and ML to build safer, more trustworthy experiences across the platform. We are a collaborative group of engineers and researchers passionate about translating advanced technology into real-world safety impact, and we take pride in doing that work with rigor and purpose.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, implement, and optimize AI/ML algorithms, techniques, and solutions to address complex Trust and Safety challenges.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into scalable engineering solutions aligned with business objectives.\nParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical presentations to uphold the quality and reliability of engineering solutions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve existing systems and propose innovative solutions that enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.\nStay current with advancements in AI/ML research and engineering, applying emerging knowledge to continuously strengthen our technical capabilities.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5 or more years of professional experience with a Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience\nProficiency in Python or another relevant programming language\nHands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models, with solid understanding of ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques; experience with natural language processing (NLP) is a plus\nFamiliarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar\nDemonstrated enthusiasm for AI through academic or personal projects, with genuine curiosity for emerging possibilities in the field\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences\n\nSalary Range or On Target Earnings:\n$137,700.00 - $275,400.00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.\nNote: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.\nWe also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations\nAt Zoom, we offer a window of at least 5 days for you to apply because we believe in giving you every opportunity.
