DevOps Lead

Zoomcar is looking for a seasoned Lead / Principal DevOps Engineer with 6-8 years of industry experience, strong cloud & automation expertise, and proven experience leading small DevOps teams. This role includes responsibility for infrastructure scalability, CI/CD ownership, and enhancing the cybersecurity posture of our platform/systems. You will work closely with the CTPO to build resilient, high-scale systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small DevOps team; drive best practices and delivery excellence.
• Architect, automate, and manage high-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerization, and Kubernetes operations.
• Implement observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) across services.
• Oversee infrastructure and CI/CD security, including IAM, vulnerability management, and secure deployments.
• Conduct security reviews, audits, and incident response collaboration.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment velocity.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of DevOps/SRE experience in high-scale environments.
• Prior experience leading DevOps or infra teams.
• Strong skills in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/Ansible, and CI/CD tools.
• Solid scripting/automation expertise.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Background working with top-tier tech companies or high-traffic platforms.
