Thrive with us at ZoomInfo.\nAs a Senior Software Engineer on the Integrations team, you'll design and build the systems that connect ZoomInfo's platform to the ecosystem of CRM, MAP, and external eco-systems that our customers depend on. You'll work on highly scalable backend services that power reliable, real-time data sync and API integrations across millions of records - enabling seamless connectivity between ZoomInfo and platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.\nYou'll leverage technologies like Kafka, Confluent Cloud, Node.js/NestJS, and modern API and authentication standards to build resilient, observable, and fault-tolerant integration services. Java (Spring Boot) is a plus\nDevelop and manage our platform integrations layer, handling connectivity, data ingestion, and exports between ZoomInfo's data layer and third-party integrations\nDesign systems for reliable job execution, retries, state management, and long-running processes\nImplement orchestration patterns for complex, multi-step business processes\nDesign and maintain APIs and internal services that integrate with external systems\nBuild observability into systems (logging, tracing, metrics) to monitor integration health and performance\nEnsure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of backend systems handling large volumes of events\nOptimize system performance, throughput, and latency across distributed systems\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues in complex, asynchronous systems\nLead medium to large-scale feature development, working independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams\nCollaborate with product and platform teams to define integration requirements and execution guarantees (SLAs/SLOs)\nParticipate in agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical discussions\nProvide technical mentorship and conduct thorough code reviews to elevate team capabilities\nStay current with emerging technologies and evaluate new tools for potential adoption\nSupport production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience\n5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems\nStrong experience with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js (NestJS)\nExperience building integrations with CRM or MAP platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics 365\nFamiliarity with no-code/low-code integration platforms (e.g., Fivetran, Zapier, or similar)\nSolid understanding of authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and JWT\nExperience with third-party API patterns - rate limiting, pagination, error handling, and data transformation pipelines\nProficiency with MongoDB and comfort working across relational and NoSQL data stores\nExperience designing and implementing RESTful and webhook-based APIs with strong grasp of versioning, reliability, and backward compatibility\nSolid understanding of software architecture patterns, cloud platforms, databases, and distributed systems concepts\nProven experience with performance optimization, security best practices, and scalable system design\nDemonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code and conduct effective code reviews\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex technical issues and implement robust solutions\nExcellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nExperience with agile development methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD practices\n This role is a hybrid position, with the option to work from home on Mondays & Fridays.\nActual compensation offered will be based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, qualifications, skills, experience and/or training.
