They are to create programs, methodologies and files for analyzing and presenting data. The Associate Data Analyst develops awareness of and familiarity with issues and events affecting organizations, departments and/or customers.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nLeverage Zoomph to quantify social media and broadcast KPIs across different channels, teams, media outlets, and properties\n\nIdentify and interpret social media data trends ranging from the post level to campaigns and series\n\nAnalyze results and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders\n\nRecommend, prioritize, and develop client and sponsor industry benchmarks\n\nCollaborate with customer success colleagues to recommend social media content strategies that will assist platform clients in maximizing content to drive partnership value and attract new sponsors\n\nExamines data quality, applications and functions\n\nProduces output and sustains operation\n\nContributes to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation\n\nUses and supports database applications and analytical tools\n\nUses timely and appropriate participation of users/customers in data collection and query systems\n\nQUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION Required a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or a related field\nEXPERIENCE\n1-3 years of experience as a data analyst, experience in the areas of marketing, communication, digital strategies and data analytics\n\nExperience in the sports industry preferred\n\nWell versed in both technical knowledge and strategic thinking\n\nStrong business, data and statistical acumen\n\nCOMPENTENCIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS\nDevelops appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing and presenting data products\n\nFacilitates satisfactory communication and resolution of problems\n\nPoints out system or process problems when noticed and engages the team in problem solving\n\nAbility to interpret data trends and patterns as they relate to the organization\n\nDesign databases and data systems\n\nSelf-starter\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nMust be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time\n\nMust be able to talk, hear, see and type.\n\nTRAVELMust be willing to travel to conferences and/or events as needed. \nOTHER DUTIES Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
