think through complex questions on the forefront of autonomous mobility\nIn this role, you will:\nSupport and guide various departments in procuring our IT Software, Hardware, and Services.\nFocus on CRM, ERP, SaaS & related procurements to support Zoox’s operational scaling and efficiency.\nSupport Zoox’s market growth by establishing and maintaining strategic relationships and procurement opportunities.\nGuide and inform internal stakeholders regarding supplier selection and management.\nIdentify sourcing alternatives to drive efficiencies via benchmarking, competitive quotes, and by creating areas for change.\nNegotiate the cost and other terms and conditions to create a total cost of ownership that is a catalyst for Zoox.\nEnsure a smooth source-to-pay process by working with the stakeholders and the finance team throughout the product lifecycle\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field\n8+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, contracting and/or supply chain management.\n4+ years of experience in Technology categories including familiarity with the complexities of Tech Sourcing, particularly networking hardware, software, services and associated agreements\nStrategic sourcing, financial and business opportunity analysis, comfort with legal frameworks, and contract negotiation skills\nExperience drafting and negotiating contracts (reviewing redlines, identifying and offering solutions to potential issues)\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders\nOpen-minded self-starter who can provide insightful feedback, strategies, and thoughts to their stakeholders and suppliers\nBonus Qualifications:\nMaster's degree or MBA in a relevant discipline (Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Program Management, etc.)\nExperience in the autonomous vehicle industry high-tech, or a related safety-critical environment.\nExperience in an NPI environment and cross-functionally with PMO or engineering
