This is a high-impact role with visibility across a multi-million-pound budget line, giving you the opportunity to influence how Zopa grows safely, protects customers and makes effective commercial decisions.\nYou will work closely with colleagues across Account Management, Fraud Operations, Risk, Analytics and Commercial to understand what good partner behaviour looks like, identify emerging risks early and ensure our response is proportionate, practical and well evidenced. This is not just an alert-reviewing role: you will help improve the end-to-end approach to B2B fraud risk, from onboarding and ongoing monitoring through to enhanced due diligence, additional controls and, where needed, offboarding.\nA day in the life\nInvestigate monitoring alerts, unusual partner activity and changes in performance, considering partner context, customer reports, transactional data and relevant company information.\nBuild a clear picture of potential fraud risk, identifying what further evidence is needed and making proportionate, well-reasoned recommendations.\nWork closely with Account Management, Fraud Operations and analysts to test concerns, challenge assumptions and agree appropriate next steps.\nSupport decisions on enhanced due diligence, changes to trading terms or controls, additional friction, monitoring requirements and partner offboarding.\nHelp design, document and continuously improve processes for partner risk assessments, ongoing monitoring and escalation.\nUse dashboards and data to identify unusual patterns and emerging typologies, helping to turn insight into practical action.\nContribute to the development of effective management information, ensuring risks, trends and outcomes are clearly understood by senior stakeholders.\nPartner with Technology, Data and external providers to improve the tools, data sources and third-party solutions used for ongoing partner checks.\nHelp balance customer protection, fraud prevention and commercial growth across a significant multi-million-pound area of the business.\nKeep up to date with B2B fraud trends, sharing learning and helping colleagues strengthen controls as the portfolio evolves.\nAbout you\nExperience of fraud risk within payments, merchant processing, asset finance or another B2B environment.\nExperience gained as a fraud underwriter, fraud strategy manager, fraud analyst or second-line policy specialist.\nStrong investigative skills, with the ability to assess different sources of information, spot inconsistencies and reach sound conclusions.\nConfidence using Tableau dashboards and data to investigate trends and identify unusual patterns.\nThe ability to explain fraud risk clearly and pragmatically to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nCuriosity, sound judgement and a practical approach to investigations and risk decisions.\nComfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities may shift and no two investigations are quite the same.\nBonus points for\nFirst-line fraud, risk or operational experience.\nExperience working with auto dealers, retailers, introducers, merchants or other third-party partner networks.\nComfort using SQL to extract data or build monitoring scripts.\nExperience
