life\nAnalyse product performance against plan across lending, savings and current accounts.\nInvestigate variances across the P&L and balance sheet and explain what is driving them.\nBuild clear narratives that help stakeholders understand product economics and performance.\nIdentify emerging risks and opportunities, bringing them into planning discussions early.\nSupport scenario analysis and forward-looking projections for product teams.\nWork with FP&A and product colleagues to test assumptions and improve decision-making.\nBalance direct-cost analysis, product economics and wider financial performance priorities.\nManage competing requests while meeting the deadlines that matter in the planning cycle.\nAsk thoughtful questions, escalate issues appropriately and keep improving how the analysis is delivered.\nAbout you\nHave experience in banking or financial services.\nBring hands-on FP&A, financial planning and forecasting experience.\nUnderstand how to interpret financial information across the P&L and balance sheet.\nExplain business and financial drivers in a way that supports practical decisions.\nPartner well with product or commercial stakeholders.\nUse curiosity to investigate issues, challenge assumptions and spot what needs further attention.\nHave an understanding of financial modelling and scenario analysis.\nHandle ambiguity, multiple priorities and planning-cycle deadlines with care.\nTake ownership of problems and make a sensible first attempt at solving them.\nWant to keep learning and develop your influence over time.\nBonus points for\nExposure to retail lending, consumer finance or retail banking products.\nExperience with credit risk, pricing, impairments or valuations.\nFamiliarity with Anaplan or another planning system.\nAdvanced Excel, SQL, Python or BI-tool capability.\nExperience using AI or automation to improve an analytical process.\nHave, or be working towards, a relevant accountancy, treasury, risk or finance
