As part of a growing international organisation, we combine the agility of a local business with the support, investment and opportunities that come from being part of a global group.\nWe're now looking for a Financial Controller to play a key role in the next phase of our growth and development.\nAbout the Role:\nThis is not a traditional reporting-focused Financial Controller position.\nWe're looking for someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates, partnering with operational leaders and using financial information to influence decisions and improve performance.\nWorking closely with the leadership team, you will help drive better commercial and operational outcomes through meaningful analysis, insight and challenge. You will be visible across the business, working with manufacturing, operations and functional teams to understand the drivers behind financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond producing reports and become a genuine business partner.\nThis role is not only about reporting results. It is about influencing them.\n\nRole Responsibilities:\nLead and continuously improve budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes\n\nAnalyse financial performance, identify key business trends and provide actionable recommendations\n\nSupport monthly management reporting and year-end activities\n\nPartner with operational and manufacturing teams to understand business drivers and improve performance\n\nAnalyse manufacturing costs, margins and profitability, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and return\n\nChallenge assumptions and support decision-making through robust financial insight\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives, including reporting enhancements, automation and process improvements\n\nSupport internal and external audit activities\n\nCollaborate with colleagues across the wider Zotefoams Group on international projects and best practice initiatives\n\nBuild strong relationships across the business and act as a trusted finance partner to operational leaders\n\nWhat you'll need:\nWe are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including Financial Controlling, Manufacturing Finance, Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting, Audit or Operations Finance.\nYou'll likely bring:\nDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline\n\nExperience in a Financial Controller, Business Controller, Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or similar role\n\nStrong understanding of financial and management accounting principles\n\nExperience of budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis\n\nExperience working within a manufacturing, industrial or operational environment\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nAdvanced Excel skills\n\nExperience using reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI\n\nGood English communication skills and confidence working within an international business environment\n\nDesirable\nManufacturing, industrial or production-based business experience\n\nPrevious audit experience\n\nExperience using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Navision or similar ERP systems\n\nExperience supporting operational leaders and driving business performance improvements\n\nWhy Join Us?\nZotefoams is growing fast, investing globally and winning in new markets.
