This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, stable, and reliable operation of production equipment and utility systems through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. You will play a key role in equipment commissioning, ramp-up, preventive maintenance, and reliability improvement initiatives that support operational excellence and consistent product quality\n\nRole Responsibilities:\nExecute daily maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems.\n\nRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate maintenance work to minimize production downtime.\n\nDevelop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) standards and guidelines.\n\nMonitor equipment condition and identify potential issues before failures occur.\n\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.\n\nLead and execute reliability, safety, and continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance.\n\nMonitor maintenance performance using a data-driven approach and drive improvement initiatives.\n\nSupport installation, testing, commissioning, trial runs, and handover of new equipment.\n\nEnsure maintenance readiness during equipment ramp-up and production start-up phases.\n\nCoordinate maintenance activities for utility systems, including compressed air, cooling systems, and wastewater treatment (WWT).\n\nEnsure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety standards and company procedures.\n\nCollaborate closely with Production, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to support business objectives and operational efficiency\n\nWhat you'll need:\nDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\n\nMinimum 4 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience in process-driven industries such as plastics, polymers, foam manufacturing, or similar sectors is preferred.\n\nExperience in equipment installation, commissioning, and manufacturing ramp-up activities is highly desirable.\n\nStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, including high-pressure systems, TCU (Temperature Control Unit), and HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit).\n\nProven experience in preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and reliability improvement.\n\nStrong root cause analysis, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.\n\nGood English communication skills.\n\nHands-on, proactive approach and ability to work effectively on the shop floor\n\nWhat were looking for?\nA motivated and hands-on engineer passionate about equipment reliability and continuous improvement.\n\nA proactive problem solver who takes ownership and drives results.\n\nSomeone who can work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing business needs.\n\nA team player who collaborates well across Production, Engineering, QA, and Maintenance teams.\n\nAn individual with a strong safety mindset and commitment to operational excellence\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nZotefoams is growing fast, investing globally and winning in new markets.
