WORKING CONDITIONS and PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The Make Ready Technician must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments. Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings. on a daily basis. The person should be able to tolerate dust, chemicals and other substances and environmental conditions associated with maintenance work. The Make Ready Technician is regularly required to stand for several hours at a time and to lift heavy objects occasionally throughout the day. The person must be able to climb stairs, walk, push and pull with both arms, reach, squat, bend and twist repeatedly at the waist and use tools with both hands to perform a substantial amount of the regular job responsibilities. The Make Ready Technician must be able to lift a moderate amount of weight (i.e., forty-five to fifty pounds).
