The ideal candidate enjoys solving difficult problems, balancing legal and business objectives, and operating in an environment where success depends on sound judgment, collaboration, and practical solutions.\nWhy Join the Legal Team?\nSupport industry-leading customers building next-generation AI and cloud infrastructure.\nWork at the intersection of technology, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and commercial strategy.\nHelp shape legal and business processes during a once-in-a-generation integration into a public company environment.\nPartner directly with senior executives and business leaders on matters with significant operational and financial impact.\nJoin a collaborative legal team that values curiosity, sound judgment, pragmatism, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.\nGain exposure to a broad range of legal and business issues beyond traditional commercial contracting.\nWhat You'll Do\nNegotiate and advise on a wide range of strategic customer and commercial transactions.\nPartner with business stakeholders to identify risks, evaluate options, and develop practical solutions.\nSupport complex negotiations involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.\nWork closely with Finance and Accounting on contractual provisions that impact business operations and financial outcomes.\nAdvise on governance, approval, compliance, and control-related matters associated with operating in a public-company environment.\nHelp develop and improve legal templates, contracting frameworks, playbooks, and internal processes.\nSupport a variety of commercial and operational matters as business needs evolve.\nIdentify, communicate, and help mitigate legal and business risks in a practical and business-oriented manner.\nWhat You'll Bring\nJ.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. bar.\n10+ years of legal experience.\nSignificant commercial contracting and negotiation experience.\nDemonstrated ability to independently lead transactions and advise business stakeholders.\nStrong business judgment and practical problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Experience\nIn-house legal experience supporting technology, hardware, manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, supply chain, or related industries.\nCombination of law firm and in-house experience strongly preferred.\nExperience operating within a public company governance environment.\nFamiliarity with revenue recognition concepts and commercial deal structures.\nExposure to datacenter, AI, cloud, networking, or advanced manufacturing businesses.\nZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $172,000 and $240,000 annually. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.\nBase salary is just one component of ZT Systems total rewards philosophy.
