This role works closely with Electrical Engineering, BMC, BIOS, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust hardware control solutions and implement innovative design concepts. The engineer will also drive power sequencing logic development, issue resolution, and continuous improvements throughout the product lifecycle.\nWhat You Will Do\nWork closely with EE, BMC, and BIOS teams for CPLD/FPGA design, validation, debugging, and maintenance.\nDevelop and maintain server production power-on sequence control logic using CPLD/FPGA.\nDesign, implement, and verify new CPLD/FPGA features and architectures to support next-generation server platforms.\nCreate development specifications, test plans, validation procedures, and design documentation.\nPerform CPLD/FPGA simulation, debugging, root cause analysis, and issue tracking throughout product development.\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful product integration and delivery.\nSupport board bring-up, system validation, and manufacturing-related engineering activities.\nDrive design optimizations for reliability, performance, and scalability.\nReview technical requirements and provide engineering assessments and recommendations.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.\nTypically requires 8+ years of CPLD/FPGA design experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a Master's degree.\nProficient in HDL programming languages such as Verilog or VHDL.\nExperience in server, storage, networking, or embedded system development.\nFamiliar with power sequencing, hardware control logic, system monitoring, and board-level design concepts.\nExperience with simulation, timing analysis, debugging, and validation tools.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to drive projects independently and deliver results under tight schedules.\nAbout ZT Systems\nAt ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, you’ll get to do work you are proud of alongside smart, passionate people.
