This role is responsible for troubleshooting, process control, production support, quality compliance, training assistance, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The Process Technician works closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Training, Materials, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized processes while driving operational excellence and business objectives.\nWhat You Will Do\nProvide technical support to Production, Quality, Engineering, Training, Materials, Logistics, and Operations teams.\nSupport manufacturing operations by troubleshooting process issues and minimizing downtime.\nServe as a technical resource for Team Leads, operators, and support personnel.\nMonitor and maintain process adherence to established work instructions, procedures, and operating standards.\nAssist with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements.\nSupport new product introductions, engineering changes, process validations, and project implementations.\nConduct process audits and identify opportunities for improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.\nMaintain and support process documentation, visual aids, standard work instructions, and operational procedures.\nAssist Training teams with onboarding, certification support, cross-training activities, and process verification.\nSupport workstation setup, equipment implementation, material flow optimization, and workplace organization initiatives.\nCommunicate technical issues, process deviations, risks, and recovery plans to leadership and cross-functional teams.\nEscalate quality, safety, equipment, and operational concerns through established channels.\nPromote and enforce ESD, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.\nSupport production goals and operational priorities while maintaining compliance with customer and company requirements.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives utilizing data-driven decision-making and problem-solving techniques.\nProvide floor support during production escalations, staffing shortages, launches, and special projects.\nDocument technical findings, corrective actions, process changes, and project outcomes as required.\nPerform additional duties and cross-functional assignments as business needs require.\nWhat You Bring\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n2+ years of related experience\nExperience in electronics manufacturing, server assembly, repair operations, or high-volume manufacturing environments.\nExperience troubleshooting manufacturing or operational processes.\nAbility to read and interpret technical documentation, work instructions, procedures, and manufacturing standards.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nSoldering experience preferred\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems.\nAbility to work independently and within cross-functional teams.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the manufacturing facility.\nAbility to frequently move between production, warehouse, and office environments.\nAbility to lift and carry materials up to company-established limits.\nAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and perform routine physical activities required in manufacturing operations.\nAbility to use computers, tablets, scanners, and manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to visually inspect products, workstations, equipment, and manufacturing processes.\nZT Systems will not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
