This role serves as a key technical leader in integrating hardware, firmware, software, networking, and management technologies to ensure end-to-end system functionality and performance.\nThe ideal candidate combines deep expertise in systems engineering, test automation, and platform integration with a strong understanding of large-scale infrastructure environments. Working cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, networking, software, quality, and operations teams, this engineer drives validation efficiency, accelerates development cycles, and improves overall product quality and deployment success.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign and develop scalable automated test frameworks that support system integration, validation, and qualification activities.\nLead end-to-end system integration efforts across hardware, firmware, software, networking, and platform management components.\nCreate test strategies, validation methodologies, and automation solutions that improve test coverage and execution efficiency.\nDevelop automated test cases for functional, performance, reliability, regression, interoperability, and system-level testing.\nSupport bring-up, integration, and validation of next-generation server, storage, networking, and infrastructure platforms.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to identify integration challenges, troubleshoot issues, and drive root cause resolution.\nBuild tools and automation capabilities that accelerate development cycles and reduce manual testing efforts.\nAnalyze system logs, telemetry, diagnostics, and test data to evaluate platform stability and readiness.\nDefine validation metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that provide clear visibility into system health and product readiness.\nValidate platform scalability, resiliency, and operational performance in lab and pre-production environments.\nDrive continuous improvements in test infrastructure, automation platforms, and validation processes.\nParticipate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and release readiness assessments to ensure integration and testing requirements are achieved.\nMentor engineers and contribute technical leadership across system integration and validation initiatives.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.\n10+ years of experience in systems integration, test engineering, validation engineering, or platform development.\nStrong experience integrating complex hardware, firmware, software, networking, and infrastructure technologies.\nExpertise in developing automated test frameworks and tools using Python, Shell scripting, Go, Java, or similar programming languages.\nDeep understanding of system validation methodologies, integration testing, performance testing, and release qualification processes.\nExperience with server platforms, storage systems, networking technologies, and hyperscale or cloud infrastructure environments.\nStrong knowledge of Linux operating systems, system architecture, virtualization technologies, and distributed computing environments.\nExperience troubleshooting complex system-level issues and performing root cause analysis across multiple technology domains.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation platforms, test management systems, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to validation and quality improvement.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working across global engineering organizations.\nProven track record of delivering scalable automation solutions that improve validation efficiency, product quality, and deployment readiness.\nDemonstrated ability to lead highly complex technical initiatives and influence engineering decisions across cross-functional teams.\nZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $116,250 - $155,000. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.\nBase salary is just one component of ZT Systems total rewards philosophy.
